EXPO Milano 2015 opens today and runs through October 31, 2015. Over 140 countries will be participating in the international expo including the United States of America. The USA Pavilion is themed American Food 2.0: United to Feed the Planet.
In November of 2014, W. O’Donnell Consulting, Inc. was selected to head the IT design and coordination of the USA Pavilion for EXPO Milano 2015 in Milan, Italy and has been providing IT design, coordination, vendor selection, and project management services for the USA Pavilion’s exhibition area.
“As IT touches almost every element of function in the USA Pavilion we’ve been working on many core functions, from the vertical farm, roof canopy, POS, timed entry ticketing, equipment for Student Ambassadors, the exhibit, and security to name a few, and of course their related equipment installation, configuration, and training,” said Bill O’Donnell, President, W. O’Donnell Consulting, Inc. “Our goal is to ensure overall function from an IT perspective, which will in turn yield the desired guest experience for visitors to the USA Pavilion.”
